Welcome to LOCKR ("the App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These Terms apply to the LOCKR app on both iOS (distributed via the Apple App Store) and Android (distributed via the Google Play Store), and to the LOCKR website. Where a term differs by platform, that difference is called out.
The App is available through in-app purchase with the following options:

On iOS, payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. On Android, payment will be charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings (iOS) or Google Play subscription settings (Android). If you cancel, you will retain access to App features until the end of the current billing period. No refunds will be issued for any unused portion of a subscription period. The lifetime purchase provides permanent access and does not renew.
There are no long-term contracts; you can change or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.
On iOS, the App uses Family Controls / Screen Time APIs (DeviceActivity and ManagedSettings) to restrict access to selected applications. On Android, the App uses Usage Access (PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS), an Accessibility Service, and a system overlay (display over other apps) to detect when blocked apps are launched and apply LOCKR's blocking screens. Blocked apps remain inaccessible according to your settings and schedules. You can configure different blocking durations and schedules within the App. The AI coach may grant or deny temporary access to blocked apps based on your configured strictness level and conversation.
LOCKR runs paid marketing campaigns on Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and TikTok. To measure those campaigns, the LOCKR website and the LOCKR mobile apps include the Meta Pixel / SDK and the TikTok Pixel / SDK, which record install, subscription, and other high-level conversion events and may share device, advertising identifier, and event data with Meta and TikTok for attribution, ad delivery, optimization, audience building, and fraud prevention. We do not share your AI coach conversation content, the specific apps you have blocked, or your raw device activity history with Meta or TikTok. See the Privacy Policy for full details, the data shared, and how to opt out via App Tracking Transparency (iOS), your Advertising ID settings (Android), or your Meta and TikTok account ad preferences.
The App is available for users of all ages. Users under 13 must have parent or guardian consent. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.

The AI coach feature is powered by third-party AI services (Google Gemini) on both iOS and Android. Coach responses are generated by artificial intelligence and should not be considered professional advice. The coach is designed to help manage screen time habits and is not a substitute for professional mental health or medical guidance.
